HIP HOP / WAACKING

Jennalee is a professional dancer, instructor and choreographer with a diverse background of dance training, now specializing in Hip Hop and Waacking. Her alternative upbringing has allowed her to teach and train all over the world, including Indonesia, Australia, Kyrgyzstan, and all over Canada.  She has successfully produced choreographic works for Dusk Dances, the National Art Centre’s Canada Day Celebration, and Bollywood Monster Mashup 2020.  Jennalee has also worked in the theatre scene in collaboration with Outside the March Theatre Company on the much acclaimed "Mr. Burns: A Post-Electric Play" and the critically acclaimed “Climb: The Musical” in 2017 and 2018.

Jennalee has been fortunate enough to perform and showcase works in Washington D.C., Los Angeles, San Diego and Oakland, California in the Culture Shock Choreographer’s Showcase.  She is also a three-time recipient of the Culture Shock Canada Youth Outreach Award, for outstanding contribution to programs targeting at-risk youth through dance. 

She is currently a professor of Dance in the Acting for Camera and Voice Program at Seneca College and a long-standing Artist on Roster for the award-winning charitable organization VIBE Arts. Jennalee spends her creative time choroegraphing with the amazing Ria Aikat for the dance and comedy act "Giggle Queens".

Jennalee’s classes are high-energy, fun, quirky and loud. She values the history and evolution of Hip Hop and Waacking and will use her knowledge to deepen your class experience!
