Getting started at City Dance Corps is quick and easy. Just arrive for your first class 10 minutes early to become familiar with the studio, complete the registration process, and meet our friendly staff. If you are not sure which class to take, you can call us at 416-260-2356 or drop in for a tour. How to register If you are attending a Drop In class, pre registration is not required. Drop in classes are Hip Hop, Jazz, Ballet Boot Camp, Power Barre, Ballet (Beg/Inter), Pilates, Contemporary and Salsa Tech. Arrive early and you can choose your payment option at our reception desk. You can pay for an individual class, or purchase discounted classes on our Card of 5 and Card of 10 class packages (interchangeable with all of our drop in classes). Be sure to check the level of each class to make sure it's just right for you. If you are attending a registered class like Salsa, Absolute Beginners Series (Break Dance, Bellydance, Ballet and Tap), or any other special workshop or class that runs in a specific session, you must reserve your spot in the class prior to arrival. We limit the attendance for each of these classes and you want to make sure your spot is reserved. You can register online, over the phone, email, or in person. Some prerequisites may apply so be sure to get all the info necessary before registration. If you are taking a private lesson, this lesson must be booked more than 3 business days ahead of time and payment is required in full at time of booking to confirm your lesson. Sign in process Once you arrive at our studio, you will be greeted at the reception desk. New students must fill out a registration form and you will be given a member card. This card is your membership to our studio and must be presented every time you attend class. All payments for classes must be made before you take the class, so give yourself some extra time in case the sign in desk is busy. We take visa, mastercard, debit, and cash. We have male and female change rooms for use, and you may take your personal belongings like wallets into the studio with you. Please try to leave jackets and larger items in the change rooms. If you are early for class, you can relax in our reception area where we have plenty of reading materials! CDC Member Card The CDC Member Card is a free membership that is given to you when you take your first class, however, there is a $5 charge for all cards that need to be replaced. Please present this card at the reception desk every time you take a class. If you choose to purchase a package of prepaid classes, this information goes onto your card and it is our method of keeping track of the classes you take. If you pay per class, you still must check in with your member card before class. There are some benefits! Keep on the lookout for events and deals that get you VIP service with your member card! Please be aware of all policies and class attire before taking your first class so you come prepared. We aim to make your first visit with us a memorable one, so all feedback is welcome! We accept
