Chuck Kemp - Ballet

Chuck Kemp is a performer, instructor, and choreographer in Toronto. She started ballet at the age of three at a small studio in Kitchener. As her passion for the art blossomed she picked up every dance style she could including jazz, tap, acro, hip hop, and flamenco dancing. She expanded her training with the Black Walnut Ballet Company, the Quite Ballet School, and with many different instructors throughout Ontario, in Nashville and New York City.

Chuck loves to perform and got to live her dream dancing in up to eight shows a week in the production shows on Norwegian Cruise Lines. After returning to Toronto she continued training and performing with the Jackson Company, Silhouettes Dance Company where she was co-artistic director in her third year, and Culture Shock Toronto where she was able to perform alongside troupes from all over North America.

Her teaching journey began at the age of 16 and she has been teaching, and choreographing, various dance styles at studios for children and adults throughout southern Ontario ever since. She is also a high school teacher imparting her passion for dance to all the students she meets. She is very excited to continue inspiring students at City Dance Corps, a studio that has been a part of her journey in dance for more than a decade.
